Wow, things have been crazy lately, as many of you are aware, I am making my final push to the Course Director Applications. Basically that means that I have been going nuts trying to get a boat load of things done and prepared for the application process. Being down to the last 3 weeks or so, the pressure is on. Anyway, I digress and the point is that I have been remiss at keep up with the news letter, so, my apologies to everyone.

Specialty of the Month Offer:
PADI has a monthly Specialty of the month. For April it is Digital Underwater Photography. When you complete the Specialty of the Month, you recieve a gift from PADI as a reward for continuing your education. Learn the principles of underwater photography. This is a GREAT course and is not complicated. This is a 2 dive specialty. Normal cost for this class is 100.00. As a specialty of the month promotion, I am offering it at $75.00. (must have a minumum of 4 students). Class dates will be April 24th in the classroom and April 26th for the checkout dives.

Upcomming Classes:
Here is a list of classes that are on the books for this month:
Advanced Open Water: April 4-5; cost is $150.00 (unless you have just finished open water, then it is $125). We will do 5 dives over 2 days. The first three dives are on Bandito Charters in Tacoma and will cover; Nav, Night and Boat diving. The second day (sunday) will cover Deep, and either a wreck dive or Peak Performance Buoyancy. This is a class that allows you to dive to 100' and learn other important skills that assist you in becoming a better diver. Space is limited, so please sign up early.

Enriched Air Nitrox March 31st; cost is 95.00 for this class. We will spend 4 hours in the classroom learing about the physics and physiology of diving with enriched air as well as how to plan for these types of dives. This is a spectacular course in which in many cases you can increase your bottom time by nearly double, who wouldn't want to do that?Remember this counts towards your Master Scuba Diver and DiveMaster rating._

Night Diver: March 3rd. This is a great opportunity to increase your night diving abilities. We will do two dives on Friday night, (advanced open water is required for this class). We will learn correct night dive procedures including etiqute and light usage. Remember this counts towards your Master Scuba Diver and DiveMaster rating._


Upcomming Dives:

Please watch the Seavisions Website for updates on dives as the Divemasters,Assistant Instructors and Instructors post them. This is a great way to keep active and continue diving with some skilled divers at your side.
Friday March 20. Show time will be 6:00 pm; splash at 6:30. This will be a twilight/night dive and the appropriate equipement will be required, i.e. primary and secondary light and cyloom. Roy Barker, Jr. will be leading this dive

Saturday, March 11th Sund Rock Show time is 8 am splash is 9:00a.m. This is two to three tank dive, depending on what you want. AOW Cert is required or a min of 25 dives. There is an entrance fee of 16.00. This is an amazing site. Parking is limited so carpooling is highly recomended. Contact Roy if you are intersted.

Project Aware Beach Clean up
We will do our part to save and protect the environment that we so dearly love on March 21st at Mukilteo. We will arrive at 1:00 pm and spenc a couple of hours walking the beach and diving the shoreline for garbage that can damage our sealife. Please join us there. This is a great opportunity to do your part.
