In 1964, when I was 15 years old, I began scuba diving in Puget Sound. I became certified by NAUI and within a few months I met my future wife, Patty, who was also a teenage diver.
After years of travel, 2 children and 6 grandchildren I was recertified by PADI as an open water diver with my son, Roy Jr. and his wife Deanna. Roy Jr. decided to go on to become an instructor and I became certified as a Dive Master. Together we teach all levels of recreational diving.
